I been there in mid 2000s. I had a presence behind me and it blew on the back of my neck and a huge bang too... I got outta that cellblock! I went to Grossmann high school across the road and totally remember Ivan Milat being there and we waved to the guards and sometimes they'd wave back!!! Cool video Abbie 👍🙂💯 p.s. yes I'm old 😁🤣

Take it from me , Maitland gaol is getting older as. She sits in time wasting away , now , I have done a fare bit of time in Maitland gaol ,, all of the longbay gaols ,, the MTC ,metro training centre,, and the main gaol CIP ,,centrol imperial prison,, with 6 wings to house inmates,, roughly ,50 odd inmates,,up to 60 inmates , depending on what wing U r put in,, Next up beside MIP. Is hospital and Next to that is the. MRP ,metro remarnd and reception prison ,, all prisoners who are not sentenced go to the receiption remand prison , called the MRRC ,,so all of long Bay ,Gaols , and Maitland Gaol are berry old. ,but that didn't worry me ,non of the fucked up places , what about Lithgow gaol ,,yep been their too , cold cu t. Of a place. ,, Now Bathurst really ,, I hated ,, because it was to far for visiting us locked up so not many visititors would travel that far ,, so now what's left ,, Ha Ha ,, now we go to , PARRAMATA GAOL ,,I fucken love that place , not really ,, but was same as Maitland ,, long Bay,, old school Gaols , Just don't believe everything you have heard from anyone ,, unless they know first hand , anyway peace out ,, and no. Not trying to act hard or anything ,,I'm just stating facts , because I have been their and done it , I'm real and have spent a lot of time with some of the most famous prisoners in Australia , for real ,, and I haven't even mentioned my day's in boy's homes yet ,, maybe another time ,,hey,, B, Rick ,Maitland,,

HA HA HA getting what i deserved during 87 from long bay i was classed for cessnock , i hated it , i broke all the rules and invented new ones to break . Finally marched from the oval at cessnock bound for ? Shanghai . Maitlaind , worse shit hole spent 1 day in the yard then bound for the bay then Goulburn i liked it .

I can assure you young Abbie that there's still no such thing as "human rights laws", having been a frequent visitor as a welfare worker, Long Bay today is exactly what Maitland is, now closed. The conditions at Long Bay are sub-human with open windows to the elements with only bars. Prisoners need to board up the windows with thin plywood during winter, and they are not even issued with jackets (which can't be purchased or brought in from home) for cold winters on the coast, where Long Bay is.
