I just bought my first proper over coat. It's a mid grey herringbone crombie style by Dunn & Co with the velvet collar and notched lapels. I'm 5'6" so it'll go down to my calves as it is so I'll get it taken up to bring it back up to the knees. I'm so excited to get it!

I’m very lucky i inherited a tan overcoat from my grandfather that predates the same blends. Dry clean only made in Poland.

I understand the premise of the video and generally it feels like a lot of opinion. I think generally a lot of these tips are good but shorter overcoats that look like pea coats are bad, but one's that drape above the knee are also very good looking overcoats, but if you really need something for the cold you will need a longer coat. I love the cashmere advise, because that's true, it's just not heavy enough and makes it a deal more expensive and it's not even touching your skin all the time.

I'm getting a grey overcoat for Christmas but unfortunately because I'm quite young I'm unable to get a long one but I'm happy either way

I like herringbone coats on other people, but not for myself, go figure. I mistakenly put a huge black permanent magic market streak on my camel over coat. I thought the coat was ruined. The streak was right on the front. Thankfully a dry cleaner was able to get it all out.
