I'm having the same for second baby and it happened with my first. It's happened for almost 2 weeks, with 1st baby I ended up with a c section because I ended up with an infected placenta from 5 cervical sweeps in one week trying to speed things up. This time I haven't accepted any, but the contractions are so exhausting, I'm 39+1 but I have an induction booked for 39+5

This was amazing! I am about to make a prodromal labor info video but wanted to hear from a more seasoned momma and their advice/experience. Thanks so much for sharing your story. Helped me so much to widen my perspective having gone through 2 long prodromal labors as well. You are doing/did such a great job waiting on the perfect timing and trusting in the divine process of birth.

I’m 38 weeks pregnant today and due date is Jan 5, 2022. Baby number 3 but baby number 2 delivered 11 years ago. I’ve been having prodromal for past weeks and now I’m like…if I can’t rely on regular contractions to know when I should go to the hospital then what can I rely on. I have been trying my best to be patient and rely on God.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I relate to it 1,000 percent and this is my fourth! No one else knew what I was talking about and my husband thinks I’m crying wolf now. You are so right about just giving it to God. He is in control.
