2 года назадI must disagree with your opinion, that police should not be armed.
Criminals get guns and carry knives (in a lot of situations deadlier than guns).
Taser failed a lot of times in the past and Maze is not always effective because of the physical or mentally state of the suspect.
Every cop in the world should carry guns. PERIOD!
I myself carry a gun at duty. And I "just" protect a deactivated nuclear power plant.

2 года назадRight now only 1 in 25 officers have tazers. So instead of that, give all police tazers and only have 1 in 25 armed with a firearm. That seems much fairer and I don't see how people can really get mad at that.

2 года назадIn situations like these the cops should be able to retrieve a gun from their vehicles. Not carry one but have a 'back-up plan' specifically for circumstances like these when some idiot is brandishing a weapon!
