I flew to Canada and paid for two people, but one didn't go, so I had two seats but was allocated in the aisle with the middle kept free. But the worst was a guy who had the window seat with long legs, stretching them over my area, and slept the complete 19 hours. How rude. He was a university student and I'm 70 years old. It was the most uncomfortable flight I ever had.

That's 3 minutes of my life I won't get back. 3 mins because that's how long I could listen to this whilst scrolling through this incredibly slow and monotonous video. Is the voice AI? either that or the film is deliberately trying to waste as much of the listeners time as possible.

Being an airline pilot is pretty serious business and no nonsense job 100 s of people's lives depends on flying the airliners even people on the ground to I've watched documentary on them hitting motels and apartments .

I have taken to the habit of trying to board last, or at least among the last, for one simple reason. I usually find some a**hole has taken my emergency exit seat, or at least my window seat, and has then to shift his or her, sorry a**hole!

im pretty sure pilots have never ever needed the widow to land a plane and if they needed to rely on said window i would waite for the next flight where they use the million pound texh to land.

I wonder, did they actually do the math factoring in the dangers of boarding last? they just seem to be saying "there is AN upside" and ignoring all possible downsides. The % chance you get in an argument over a seat and get a skull fracture fighting someone is probably significantly higher than the % upside in surviving crashes.

boarding last means your don't have any space to store your hand luggage, this is a common fact.

I have a fear of flying and have only flown once, I was last to board the plane, I remember everyone staring at me as I walked down the aisle as if I was the one Holding the plane up!
