Okay I saw this last night and need to rant a little bit.

Everything was good until this scene. Good thing Ana broke down crying and told her the truth or Karen would’ve accidentally committed statutory rape. Yikes. What a stupid twist.

Also the scene where they’re talking on the phone and Ana asks Karen if it was real for her and Karen starts crying. Wtf? Am I supposed to care about the fallout of this romance that was built on false pretenses? The other girl is 16 why tf would I be upset about this? Idk why Karen started crying either. The appropriate response would’ve been shock and disgust not sadness, and it would’ve happened here. Karen was way to calm about finding out her real age moments after being horny for her.

Last thing, but Ana didn’t even really do anything. She lied about her age and living alone so she could…hang around a beach house. Where’s the drama? This should’ve been like a crime drama or something with higher stakes, like maybe Karen gets into some shenanigans that put her in danger. Then Ana would’ve actually ruined her life. As it stands it’s just a teenager being weird and lying to create a friendship. That’s bad but not uncommon.

Now I don't know the age difference here, and if it is too much (in that the teen is underage) then better it stopped, but you wouldn't make the poor girl feel so vulnerable like that. Too much for a first time. You have to be gentle and show your own vulnerability.
