That motor is a rebranded 2028. I know many thing of the 2028 800kv as the dogs danglies, but it's not anything special. Take the two motors apart and look at them. Heck, the "Fuze" rotor slots straight into the 2028. If you switch the motors and leave everything else the same, they perform the EXACT same. When people think they get a great upgrade with lots of power on tap from a combo using a 2028 and a Max5 or XLX, it's all in the ESC. If you want to really get the DBXL to run hard, TP Power 5870 1100 kv with Max5 or 1350 kv with MTZ 300. The Lehner 3080/6 or 3080/5 are also great for use with Max5 and MTZ300 escs.

I like the fact the gas one doesn’t have the wing on the back which I would remove on this

After reviewing some of the other videos where you're running the Max 6 I have to question you do realize the Max 6 is 8s capable right? I agree with you putting a Max 5 in the Losi will be a good idea but most of us with x-maxx are upgrading to the Max 6 for the programmability options and just the better quality running under 8s than the stock system that the 8S x-maxx comes with.

How durable would you compare the both...which you feel is more durable...sold my baja 5t 5th scale got tired of tuning n dealing with the motors...plus it's too loud to run anywhere without attracting a crowd..now I want either one just want to figure out what's more durable...won't be doing much racing just bashing around n lots of jumps...something to kill time on my lunch breaks..since there 2 tracks less than 5 mind from my job pls. Help thanks

when i run mine i will run 10000mah max amps 200c no fucking around big motors need big amps period. people want to get in fifth scale but dont use the right lipos they need way more amps and mah for huge drain
